Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history?  Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of.

The oldest family member I have ever met is my grandpa. He is 92 years old. My dad was adopted so we don't know anything about his family history. My moms side of the family is where my Judaism comes from. Other than my religion, I do not know much about my family history or heritage. I have never sat down with my parents or grandparents and learned about our history. All I know is that we are Russian Jews.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far? 

I decided to choose Wix because it looked like a more welcoming website. It also looked like it would be easy to use. I have learned that web design is time consuming, and it takes a lot of planning out before you just start doing things. I also learn that the layout is very important, and if you  have a bad layout then your website will no be appealing. Lastly, I learned that images are needed to make a website more attractive, and without them the website is boring.

Journal - What have you learned about making a website? Explain.

I have learned a lot about making websites so far. I have learned that they must be visually appealing for people to ever want to be on them. Also that they must be easy to navigate. Websites should always have working links because if the links do not work people will leave. Another thing is the pages can't be to cluttered. Everything has to be evenly spaced so it does not overwhelm the viewers.

Journal - What do you know about building and creating a website? Have you ever done it before?  List qualities of a well designed and well functioning website.

I know nothing about creating a website, and no I have never done it before. I do know some qualities of a well designed and well functioning website though. First, it should be appealing to the audience. If the website is boring then the user will not want to stay on it. Second, it should be easy to use; simple links and a search bar are good ways to make a website easy to navigate through. As I said, a search bar is a very useful tool in a good website. It is a good way for users to find exactly what they are looking for, and do it fast. Another very important aspect is to make sure that all of the links work.

Journal - Tell me about two things you've learned while creating you stop-motion animation video. Go in to detail about those two items.

While making my stop motion animation I have learned that you have to be very careful with each picture. Even the slightest change is the picture is very noticeable in the film. Also that making a stop motion animation is very time consuming. You have to be so precise with each picture, and you have to take so many that it takes up a lot of time.

Journal - What step are you currently on in your stop-motion animation video? Tomorrow you need to have all your pictures on your computer when the bell rings. Will you be ready? If not, why? What do you plan on getting done in class today. Make a 'To-Do' List on your blog.

As of right now, Ii have all of my photos taken for my stop-motion animation. I forgot to send them to myself, so I will have to do that today. I will be ready with all of my photos by tomorrow. Today, i am going to make sure I can get all of my photos on my computer by tomorrow
